Photography for the non-traditional.
I'm Nikki, a couples, boudoir and bridal portrait photographer based out of Webster, TX. I specialize in photographing: couples/engagements, proposals, boudoir/bridal boudoir, couples boudoir, best friend sessions, unique branding headshots/marketing content, formal and fun bridal portraits, and sometimes bachelorette groups.
At this time I do not photograph weddings.
I love photographing love of all kind.
Something about the connection shared between humans has always caught my attention: I'm the type of person who has always paid attention to the little things.
I notice all the tender, tiny touches, the little brush of their hand across your cheek to get the hair out of your face, the many inside jokes and the kiss-your-teeth-because-you-can't-stop-smiling kinda smooches. I notice it all, and maybe that's why I love photographing couples so much.
Love is always in the details, after all. And I think this is also why transitioning to adding boudoir to my portfolio in 2020 was the natural next step for me: self love is just as important to help heal the soul.
01. WHY NIKKI?
I try to focus on creating imagery for non-traditional souls. I don't prefer stiff, formal poses, I'd rather have you chase your partner around trying to touch their butt, or scream out a funny cuss word during your boudoir session to elicit a real laugh/smile. Basically, if you want to have fun and get flirty, I'm your gal.
02. TALK ABOUT INTENTIONS
If you know you're ready to book me and think we will vibe well: the next step is to contact me via the form on my website. Inform me of what type of session you're after and why. Did you have a vision in mind? I want to learn how can I infuse as much of your personality into your session as possible!
03. PICK LOCATION & DATE
To get your session on the books we must decide on a photoshoot location first. A contract will be signed and deposit must be paid upfront to reserve your studio, date and time. The remainder can be made on a 2 installment payment plan. **Balance must be paid in full prior to photoshoot beginning.
04. TIME TO TALK OUTFITS
I do not provide a client closet in any of my photography packages. I am happy to help with styling assistance every step of the way if you are unsure what attire will photograph the best! I can also provide an extensive list of websites that sell lingerie for my boudoir clients.
05. WHAT ABOUT HAIR/MAKEUP?
While I do not include professional hair and makeup services in my photography packages, I can offer you some amazing freakin recommendations of artists I trust and use personally. Alternatively, this leaves opportunity open for you to use your own preferred stylist, if you have a tried and true artist already.
06. IT'S GO TIME!
The day of the photoshoot try to make sure you're not coming from work. Take the day off and make it all about rest, relaxation and connecting with yourself or your partner prior to your session. Once the session is over you can expect to receive your fully edited and retouched photos in a secure digital gallery within 1-2 weeks. Busy season can push delivery to up to 4 weeks out.
